Today we have been using scales to measure a range of objects around the classroom. Before we measured anything we placed an object in each hand and made our own estimates using heavier/lighter language. For example Connor said "I think that the shoe is going to be heavier than the dinosaur." Over the next few weeks the students will have access to some scales so that they can measure different objects around the room. I wonder who will be able to find two classroom objects that weigh the same amount??
